The set-up of a new business process management (BPM) unit was required to support an enterprise-wide transformation at a technology company. The new process transformation unit focused on key transformation initiatives that included procure-to-pay, supply-chain planning and customer order management with reduction of cycle time and cost being the key goals. Through a pragmatic approach to the analysis of the existing processes and design of the to-be process that reflect the identified improvements and automation opportunities resulted in cost reduction of over $ 8M in Procure-to-Pay processes for the global Technology manufacturing company in less than one year​.

Systematic knowledge transfer and educational activities with face-to-face trainings combined with E-Learning components for the fast enterprise-wide roll out.

Process Governance Organization

Define a simple process governance organization.

This includes the roles and responsibilities, collaboration model, governance processes, and the integration of process and data governance.

BPM Playbook

Develop a practical BPM Playbook to sustain the BPM capabilities. The playbook summarizes the repository management, methods and guidelines, the governance, the approach to projects, the value realization, the process intelligence, and intelligent process automation.


  • Significant improvements of key processes (see above). This includes major cost and time savings, improved customer experience, improved supplier experience.
  • Fully functional process repository in place that is structured in a way that it can support
  • Key resources in core team, as well as in business units, are trained in process management methods and tools so that they can take over those activities on an ongoing basis the enterprise transformation initiates
  • Operating model for the process management discipline is in place and guided through the BPM playbook. This creates a sustainable ongoing business process management capability enable the enterprise-wide transformation.
