To achieve Process Harmonisation, a process framework and repository were established. This created a view of how the business operated based on people’s interpretations of process. However, due to the global footprint and multi-site nature of the organisation, traditional process models could not wholly account for the inherent variability of boots-on-the-ground activity.
By harnessing the latest evolution in process data mining systems, Signavio Process Intelligence, NTT generated real, data-driven insights for their Lead-to-Quote process where they identified scope for improvement with cycle times variation across sites and revenue leakage. The newly generated visibility of operational data highlighted process performance & bottlenecks and potential improvement. They then used BPM-D’s pragmatic approach to take this information and use it to create tangible projects and shape of the organisation’s improvement project portfolio.
