Our team helped a global manufacturer to refresh and update its BPM function to support their digital transformation. Their planned transformation was radical and enterprise wide. It included becoming a new company, moving to an entirely new digital landscape and adopting a new customer focused way-of-working. We discovered and standardised the company’s new processes, documenting them in a cloud repository designed with employees in mind. This aligned business with IT, reducing risk and accelerating a 2-year, multi-million Euro project.
The organisation underwent a significant transformation involving the separation from its parent group. This included the comprehensive implementation of SAP across 70 modules, including the deployment of S/4HANA.
Despite an abundance of content, the legacy ARIS platform experienced low utilisation rates. Processes for requirement gathering, documented in MS Word, lacked both relevance and a cohesive structure. In addition, the standard SAP processes in place did not align with the newly envisaged operational framework.
We defined a new operating model and established a process taxonomy to create a structured foundation for the transformation.
The repository was meticulously configured, and the core team received comprehensive training. We then converted input content into precise business process models and conducted rigorous validation with subject matter experts through interviews and feedback sessions.
The finalised processes were efficiently published, and users underwent thorough training in preparation for the enabled rollout, allowing the organisation to manage changes in a structured and manageable way. Key performance indicators (KPIs) were also established to track progress and keep teams aligned.
